Join the Honor Flight Dayton Volunteers! Honor Flight Dayton is a non-profit organization comprised strictly of volunteers (including the board and elected officers) and welcome anyone with a heart for honoring veterans. Guardians accompany veterans to ensure a safe and memorable trip. Guardians pay a set fee of $450, which is a tax-deductible donation, to cover their expenses during the trip. In addition to the guardians who actually assist the veterans during the trip to Washington DC, we would not be able to perform our mission without the support and dedication of the many volunteers that have donated their time and efforts to Honor Flight Dayton.   

There are numerous opportunities that volunteers are needed for such as:

• Fundraising Events

• Information booths

• Check-in and ground crew assistance on flight dates

• Attendees for the welcome home receptions

• Phone calls for special events

• Assistance at our annual Fall Banquet

• Clerical support
